Coming back with a triumphant return on Tuesday, Oct 12th is the El Borracho Mexican Lager!! If you’ve had it, you remember it: light and bright, crisp and delish 🍺🤤 The name El Borracho comes from a popular Mexican card game @shreddystacos owner @shredlyn played growing up 🃏

To celebrate, @shreddystacos is doing a taco eating contest with @hotones hot sauce. Eat 5 tacos, each one spicier than the last to be the champion! You must DM @shreddystacos to sign up and the contest will start at 6pm! 🌮🔥🥵

Aaaand last but not least on our staff intros is the BIRTHDAY BOY himself! Chief Beer Operator Brian is the brains behind the whole operation and it’s his birthday today so if you see him, be sure to sing the whole birthday song in its entirety. He will for sure appreciate that 😉

Brian, who was born and raised in Colorado, has worn many hats throughout his semi-professional life; cable guy, grunt, cook, Dad, Coach, Poppy (yes he still refuses to call himself a Grandpa). You name it, he’s probably done it. He fell in love with craft beer sometime in the 90’s when he landed his job at a large bio-tech company in Boulder, CO (micro-brew mecca, then & now) where he started brewing beer with a co-worker and sampling the craft scene in Boulder.

After almost 17 years, he left the corporate world to fulfill a bucket-list dream and build a house (with his very own hands) in the Fraser Valley for his beautiful wife and four-legged kids. After the build was finished, a friend he acquired up here came to him with an idea to start a brewery in Fraser…

Free dog bowls with a pint purchase and free homemade spent grain dog biscuits if you tag us on Insta! 🦴🦴

$1 of every pint will be donated to @gcpetpals !! Whether you have a dog or not, come buy a beer to support them! 🐾

Pups ‘n Pints is tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 2pm-close! We’d love to see you and your dog at the brewery! We recommend coming around 2-4 if your dog loves other dogs and wants to party. If you want to participate with your pup who might get a little overwhelmed around so many other dogs, come a little later! 🐶🐕🐩

We’ll be giving out free collapsible dog bowls while supplies last (with purchase of a pint) and if you take a pic with your dog and tag us on Insta, you’ll get a free bag of homemade spent grain dog biscuits! 🦴

We’ll also be coming around to take Polaroids of your pup to hang up in the brewery so we can remember this special occasion forever and ever ❤️

We’re almost through our staff intros! Second to last is Angie, the woman behind the whole operation. Angie calls herself a “Corporate Hippie”. Her love for being active landed her a job as a partner at a corporate fitness and wellness company. We call that her “day job” and her husband calls her his “sugar mama”. Angie brews our kombucha which you will find on tap in our brew house. She is an integral part of keeping FRBCO running smoothly! 😸

We’ll be giving out free dog bowls while supplies last (must buy a pint to get a bowl) and if you take a pic with your dog and tag us on Instagram, you’ll get a free bag of homemade spent grain dog biscuits!

The best part though? $1 of every pint purchased will be donated to Grand County Pet Pals and we’re hoping to have a couple adoptable dogs from the shelter hanging out at the brewery for a few hours! 😍

This will be a super fun event and we are very much looking forward to there being more dogs than humans at the brewery. So exciting 😃🐾🦴🐶

A HUGE thank you to everyone that made Oktoberfest Hop Crawler a success! Here’s to all of the amazing artists, musicians, and of course, to all of the delicious beer we got to try at all 5 breweries! 🍻We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to do it again next year.

Congrats to @camberbrewing for taking home the gold for 2 years in a row for the People’s Choice award! It was a close one!! 🏆
